In
order to abound you must first be steadfast and unmovable!
1
Corinthians 15:58 KJV says;
"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord...".
"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord...".
Often times we lose our focus on what we should do, how we should do it and with what amount of passion it will take to necessarily complete the job.
This
verse simply reminds us to;
Be
“steadfast" and not stop when convinced otherwise especially when you have felt a need to do and feel some sort of conviction about it.
Be "unmovable". So many times we are tempted to move just a little to the right or left from God's plan but is it worth it? It isn't worth getting thrown off center to please anyone but Jesus Christ himself.
After
we become steadfast and unmovable. We are admonished to
“always abound”
But
if we aren't first steadfast then unmovable we won't even get to
abound.
When
you abound, abound in the work of the Lord.
